一、学院概况 Overview：
国际教育学院是四川传媒学院为培养具备国际视野，掌握世界先进传媒技术的高层次复合型人才而专门组建的教学单位。目前已与美国、加拿大、英国、澳大利亚、新西兰、日本、韩国、马来西亚、新加坡等多个国家的多所高校签订了校际合作交流协议，开展了不同形式的交流与合作。与美国纽约电影学院合作举办了“影视摄影与制作专业”本科教育项目，开设了国际本硕连读、国际本科及各类短期交流项目。这些项目全部获得教育部的权威认证，不仅能够保障学生直通留学，还能保障学生在最短时间内取得国内国外学位。迄今为止，已成功输送多批学生前往国外合作院校学习深造，更有多名学生前往QS世界大学排名前100的学校攻读硕士和博士学位，如纽约大学、苏黎世大学、悉尼大学、杜伦大学、利兹大学等世界名校。
国际教育学院秉承外语学习与专业学习并重的教学方针。在外语学习上，采用渗透式小班教学，组建了一支高水平的外语教学专家团队,聘请了美、韩、日等多国外教进行日常外语教学活动，为学生出国留学打下坚实语言的基础。在专业学习上，引进国外先进的专业课程体系和外教团队，实现了专业课程与国外无缝对接、互认学分，使学生在国外能够更加顺利地进行升学衔接。
国际教育学院将积极响应学校培养“适应传媒行业和地方经济社会发展需求的高素质应用型人才”的号召，认真总结在国际化教育中取得的初步成绩、经验，从创建一流应用型现代传媒艺术大学、增强学校国际竞争力的高度，加快学校传媒教育国际化的步伐，为把四川传媒学院建设成为一所中国特色、世界知名的传媒学院而努力奋斗。
The School of International Education is a specialized teaching unit within Sichuan University of Media and Communications, dedicated to cultivating high-level, comprehensive talents with an international perspective and mastery of world-advanced media technology. Currently, the school has signed inter-school cooperation and exchange agreements with numerous universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries, engaging in various forms of exchanges and collaborations.
In collaboration with the New York Film Academy in the United States, the school has initiated a bachelor's degree program in "Filmmaking," and offers international undergraduate, master's, and various short-term exchange programs. All these programs have received authoritative certification from the Ministry of Education, not only ensuring students direct access to studying abroad but also guaranteeing the acquisition of domestic and foreign degrees in the shortest possible time. To date, the school has successfully sent multiple batches of students to study abroad at partner institutions, with many students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees at world-renowned universities ranked in the top 100 by QS World University Rankings, such as New York University, University of Zurich, University of Sydney, Durham University, University of Leeds, and others.
The School of International Education adheres to a teaching philosophy that emphasizes both foreign language learning and professional studies. In foreign language learning, it employs immersive small-class teaching and has assembled a high-level team of foreign language teaching experts, including instructors from the United States, South Korea, Japan, and other countries, laying a solid language foundation for students intending to study abroad. In professional studies, the school has introduced an advanced international curriculum system and a team of foreign teachers, achieving seamless integration and credit recognition between professional courses and those offered abroad, facilitating smooth academic transitions for students overseas.
The school will actively respond to the call to cultivate "high-quality applied talents adaptable to the needs of the media industry and local economic and social development." It will earnestly summarize the preliminary achievements and experiences gained in international education, strive to create a first-class applied modern media arts university, enhance the school's international competitiveness, accelerate the internationalization of media education, and work diligently towards making Sichuan University of Media and Communications a distinctive and globally renowned media school.
二、招生类别 Programmes：
学历教育
1. 中外合作办学项目（3+1年）：
我校与美国纽约电影学院合作举办“影视摄影与制作”本科专业。该专业采取“3+1”培养模式：前三年在四川传媒学院学习，第四年可选择赴美国纽约电影学院学习本科或硕士课程。达到双方大学认可的毕业要求，可获得四川传媒学院本科和美国纽约电影学院本科或硕士文凭。
Joint Bachelor's Degree programme in Filmmaking with New York Film Academy. Students can achieve dual degrees from SUMC and NYFA if all requirements are met.
2. 本硕连读（3+1年起）：
顺利完成中外大学规定的所有学业，达到双方大学认定的毕业要求，可获得四川传媒学院本科和国外大学的硕士文凭。招收被四川传媒学院本科录取的学生（专业不限）。
Combined programme of SUMC bachelor's degree plus master's degree in an overseas institution: We recruit students who have met the requirements to be enrolled into SUMC's undergraduate programmes.
非学历教育
3. 国际本科（2+2或1+3年起）：
前1-2年在我校完成出国培训课程，进入国外合作大学本科学习。修完国外大学规定的所有学业，达到国外大学本科毕业要求，可获得国外大学的本科文凭。招收具有中国普通高中或同等学历，并须通过国际教育学院入学考试的学生。
国际本科学生不可转入四川传媒学院本科或专科学习，不取得四川传媒学院本科或专业毕业证。
International foundation programme: We recruit high school graduates or equivalent and the candidates must pass the entry interview by SUMC.
