在天气转暖的四月，国际教育学院英语方向的同学们在老师们的指导下参加了2022年国际教育学院英语书法比赛。本次书法比赛摘选了三篇文段供同学们作为书写材料：

1. 《习近平谈治国理政》第三卷节选

《习近平谈治国理政》第三卷收入了习近平总书记在2017年10月18日至2020年1月13日期间的报告、讲话、谈话、演讲、批示、指示、贺信等92篇，还收入习近平总书记这段时间内的图片41幅。该卷生动记录了以习近平同志为核心的党中央，着眼中华民族伟大复兴的战略全局和世界百年未有之大变局，不忘初心、牢记使命，统揽伟大斗争、伟大工程、伟大事业、伟大梦想，团结带领全党全国各族人民推动党和国家各项事业取得新的重大进展的伟大实践，集中展示了马克思主义中国化的最新成果，充分体现了我们党为推动构建人类命运共同体贡献的智慧方案，是全面系统反映习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的权威著作。

“面对世界经济复苏乏力、局部冲突和动荡频发、全球性问题加剧的外部环境，面对我国经济发展进入新常态等一系列深刻变化，我们坚持稳中求进工作总基调，迎难而上，开拓进取，取得了改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的历史性成就。

Outside China, we have been confronted with sluggish global economic recovery, frequent outbreaks of regional conflicts and disturbances, and intensifying global issues. At home, we have encountered profound changes as China has entered a new normal in economic development. We have upheld the underlying principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability, risen to challenges, pioneered and pushed ahead, and made historic achievements in reform, opening up, and socialist modernization. 

中国要强盛、要复兴，就一定要大力发展科学技术，努力成为世界主要科学中心和创新高地。我们比历史上任何时期都更接近中华民族伟大复兴的目标，我们比历史上任何时期都更需要建设世界科技强国！

To achieve prosperity and rejuvenation, China must dedicate itself to advancing science and technology, and become a major world center for science and innovation. We are closer to the goal of rejuvenating the Chinese nation than at any time in history, so the need to build China into a world leader in science and technology is more urgent than ever.”

 

2. 莎士比亚十四行诗第18首《Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? （我可否将你比作一个夏日?）》

威廉·莎士比亚曾在伦敦谋生，当过剧场杂役和演员，最后以剧作而出名。主要作品有37部剧本、2首长诗和154首十四行情诗，其中，十四行情诗中的第18首较为出名，诗中作者对时间的毁灭力量及将诗歌给情人带来的永恒之美做了深邃的思考。

“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date;

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

3. 豪尔赫·路易斯·博尔赫斯《 What can I hold you with? (我用什么才能留住你？)》

豪尔赫·路易斯·博尔赫斯（1899 - 1986），阿根廷作家。作品涵盖多个文学范畴，包括：短文、随笔小品、诗、文学评论、翻译文学。其中以拉丁文隽永的文字和深刻的哲理见长。

 

“I offer you lean streets, desperate sunsets, the moon of the jagged suburbs.

I offer you the bitterness of a man who has looked long and long at the lonely moon.

 

I offer you my ancestors, my dead men, the ghosts that

living men have honoured in marble:

my father's father killed in the frontier of Buenos Aires,

two bullets through his lungs, bearded and dead, wrapped by his soldiers in the hide of a cow;

my mother's grandfather - just twenty-four -

同学们陆陆续续交上自己的书法作品，看得出来，大家都非常用心地写出了这一份份精美的书法作品。大家的作品都非常优秀，评委组经过艰难的取舍，最终评选出3位同学荣获一等奖，6位同学获得二等奖、7位同学获得三等奖，接下来让我们一起来欣赏一下部分优美的书法作品吧（排名不分先后）。
